Cuckfield Baptist Church is a growing Bible-teaching church of about 100 people of all ages and stages in Cuckfield. We are a warm, independent, conservative-evangelical Baptist church and are members of the Sussex Gospel Partnership, FIEC, and Affinity.
We would like to appoint an Associate Pastor to the eldership to help with the growing needs of the church, particularly in the areas of pastoral care and discipleship.
Required Skills
- A committed Christian with a mature faith in Christ and proven experience of gospel church-based ministry.
- A gifted and experienced pastor and Bible-teacher
- A team player who is excited about and has a proven ability to disciple, equip, and train members and leaders.
- Has a strong level of emotional intelligence.
- Is in agreement with our statement of faith & church handbook (we practise believer's baptism and communion for baptised believers).
We are open to the possibility of the Associate Pastor being part-time (3-4 days) due to involvement in another ministry. We anticipate the Associate Pastor would preach 1-2 Sundays a month, and be involved in all aspects of the church's life and ministry.
