Role/Purpose
The Beckenham Church Plant is seeking a full/part time associate church planter to join us in time for the church’s September 2020 launch.
We are looking to recruit an associate planter to work alongside the leadership of the plant - in preaching/teaching, with families and 20s, and in outreach and evangelism. The role will also provide a great opportunity to gain first-hand experience of establishing a new church as part of our longer-term prayer for the planting and leading of future church plants in SE London.

Background
This new church plant is being launched to help reach the Beckenham area. It’s a suburban area towards the southern edge of London, identified as needing a new gospel-centred church to help reach the 60,000 people of Beckenham and the 100,000 who live within a 10 minute drive. We are working in Gospel partnership with Christ Church Bromley, Co-Mission (a church planting network in London) and the FIEC (who have granted us Church Plant status).

Required Skills

A man with:
a godly, prayerful faith and a growing ability to teach and preach God’s word across a variety of contexts.
a passion for making and growing disciples driven by a love for people and God’s glory.
an ability to train others and a willingness to be flexible and entrepreneurial.
the ability and passion to minister to families and 20s.
a clear vision and proven leadership skills.
a humble desire to receive further training – both formally and on the job.
