Who We Are Looking For:
Our church is seeking a man who is ready to join a diverse church revitalisation as an assistant pastor or a pastor-in-training who needs a few more years of experience/learning before being ordained to the role of assistant pastor.This person must have the calling, desire, and qualifications of an overseer/elder/pastor from 1 Timothy 3:1-7. A strong history of pursuing godliness and submitting to discipleship. Experience in fulfilling the Great Commission’s command of making disciples by leading people to Christ and teaching them the fundamentals of following God.
Believes and practices that the Bible is the chief authority in all our lives. Has learned the basics of homiletics and exegetical hermeneutics. Desires to continuously improve their ability to communicate the life-changing message of God’s Word.
This person desires to be part of a church that actively reaches the lost and teaches believers to better know who God is. He can be creative in finding ways to engage new people and keep connecting with those in our community and who come to our church.
Assisting in the pastoral care of church members
Assisting in the oversight of church ministries, services, and events
1-to-1 discipleship meetings each week
Leading and facilitating youth (teens) and young adult ministries
Leading ministries based upon specific gifting (e.g. music, administration, evangelism, etc.)
• Meets qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7
• Has had some formal theological training or is willing to begin formal theological training while ministering at our church
• Experience in teaching the Word of God
• Served in previous church ministries
• Leadership experience in a churchContact us
