Koinonia Evangelical Church, is a friendly Bible-centred church situated in the town of Andover, in Hampshire. The church has seen considerable growth in recent years and now has over a 100 people at its morning services, and around 50 at its evening services.

Due to the planned retirement of the Senior Pastor at the end of the year and succession of the Associate Pastor, there is a need for a godly man to join the staff team and to be involved in the growing leadership needs of the church

Required Skills

Whilst we recognise that each person has their own particular gifts and passions, we would be looking for someone who is:

Gifted and able to regularly preach God's word;

Has an evangelistic heart with a desire to see God's church grow in depth as well as numerically;

Is able to work as part of a team;

Loves people and sees pastoral care as an important part of being a faithful Pastor; 

Is qualified to be an Elder (1 Tim 3, Titus 1), seeking to guard their life and doctrine closely;

Is in full agreement of the FIEC Statement of Faith and our doctrinal teachings which can be found here and the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith, in particular the Doctrines of Grace.

Extra Information

Whilst there is flexibility, we envision a starting date between April and September 2025.

The church owns a manse which would be available as part of the renumeration package, should that be of potential benefit.
