Important Requirements

You will need to be able to declare wholehearted acceptance of the FIEC doctrinal basis.

Redeemer is a church in Manchester, with an aim to cultivate the culture we live in to the glory of God. 

Those in this role will: 

* Use artistic talents and abilities to enhance the Sunday worship experience at the church, which could include creating visual art pieces, performing music, or other forms of artistic expression.

* Collaborate with church leadership and worship team to join in existing endeavours as well as helping to develop and implement new creative ideas for incorporating art into worship services and other church events.

* Engage with the church community and encourage the various uses of art as a means of spiritual expression and growth.

* Act as a role model for other artists in the church and provide guidance and mentorship as needed.

* Help shape how the church as a whole utilises various forms of art in its worship and outreach.

* Use artistic talents and abilities to support the church's efforts in church planting, including creating art for outreach and evangelism events, or using art as a basis for community engagement and service.

* Connect with other churches in Manchester to help foster larger city-wide discipleship for artists.

Required Skills

A commitment to the mission and values of Redeemer, with its particular focus on church planting and outreach 

A passion for connecting the art world with the realms of the church and vice versa

Proven artistic ability and experience in one or more forms of artistic expression (e.g. visual art, music, drama, etc.)Excellent communication and collaboration skills

A willingness to work as part of a team and adapt to the unique needs and challenges of a church environment
