Thrive 2020

Thrive is an event for women’s workers specifically set apart by their local Independent church for pastoral or word ministry amongst women and is a great opportunity to meet others in similar roles, be encouraged and learn from one another. It's our hope that those who come to Thrive will be both spiritually and physically refreshed.

Speaker

We are delighted that Elisabeth Smyth will be our main speaker this year. Elisabeth is no stranger to women in ministry in FIEC churches. Many have benefitted from her godly wisdom, careful counsel and gracious support as Elisabeth has served as Women’s Ministry Coordinator with FIEC for the last six years.

Elisabeth will bring us God’s word to encourage women in ministry to “Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always” (Psalm 105:4).

Venue

This year, Thrive will be returning to Holland House.

Holland House is between Pershore and Evesham in Worcestershire; an interesting mix of very old and more recent buildings set within three acres of beautiful gardens that slope down to the River Avon. In their words, it's “the ideal location for meeting with friends, colleagues or enjoying the peace and tranquillity.”

Dates

Thrive will take place from Monday 11th to Wednesday 13th May 2020.
