Due to government advice on avoiding gatherings at the moment, our normal Local Conferences have been cancelled. In their place we have arranged shorter, online versions to continue to offer support and partnership building during this time of lockdown.
Our Local Conferences seek to strengthen pastors in their ministry and help foster meaningful partnerships between FIEC church leaders. The online conference include teaching and training, and the opportunity for prayer, sharing news, and discussion about mission in the region.
Please sign up using the links below and the Zoom instructions will be sent to you by email prior to the meeting. Please do invite others to sign up too.
Whose gospel legacy have you benefited from? And what sort of legacy will you leave behind?
For our 2020 Local Conferences, we will explore the theme of Leadership and Legacy in the context of the local church. This will build upon the theme of the 2019 Leaders’ Conference, though you don't need to have attended the Leaders' Conference to benefit (but you can listen to talks from that conference).
Each conference will be led by Johnny Prime with contributions from others in the FIEC Leadership Team.
They will begin with Bible teaching to look at good leadership legacy. This will be followed by news and updates from the church leaders in attendance.
Finally, John Stevens will help us by pre-recorded video to think through the ways in which leadership in the local church might be abused either deliberately or unintentionally.
Who can attend?
These conferences are primarily designed for FIEC pastors and leaders, as well as members of the Pastors' Network. However, please do feel free to encourage local non-FIEC pastors who would share the gospel heart of FIEC to attend with you.
To ensure church leaders can connect and partner with other church leaders in their area, we have organised the online conferences by region.
However, if your area is not covered or you cannot make the date or time of the one for your area, please do sign up to any one you wish.
Attendance is free of charge, but you must still book your place in advance.
