Our Local Conferences seek to strengthen pastors in their ministry and help foster meaningful partnerships between FIEC church leaders. So, alongside teaching and training, the conferences provide opportunity for prayer, sharing news, and discussion about mission in the local area.

Whose gospel legacy have you benefited from? And what sort of legacy will you leave behind?

For our 2020 Local Conferences, we will explore the theme of Leadership and Legacy in the context of the local church. This will build upon the theme of the 2019 Leaders’ Conference, though you don't need to have attended the Leaders' Conference to benefit (but you can listen to talks from that conference).

Each conference will be led by Johnny Prime, Adrian Reynolds or Andy Hunter, with contributions from Ray Evans and John Stevens.

Ray will help us explore both the priority and challenges of raising up new leaders in the local church.

John will help us think through the ways in which leadership in the local church might be abused either deliberately or unintentionally.

Who can attend?

These conferences are primarily designed for FIEC pastors and leaders, as well as members of the Pastors' Network. However, please do feel free to encourage local non-FIEC pastors who would share the gospel heart of FIEC to attend a local conference with you.

Pastors’ wives are welcome to book alongside their husbands to benefit from the preaching of God’s word and from fellowship with others. However, there won't be specific sessions aimed at pastors' wives.

We want each conference to be as relevant and easy to attend as possible, which is why we have expanded to 32 locations in 2020. Find your nearest location on the map below.

Cost & Food

Attendance is free of charge, but you must still book your place in advance. You can also give an optional £10 donation when booking to help us cover costs.

Lunch and refreshments are provided during the day. We will email attendees nearer the time with more details about food and to obtain any dietary requirements.
