A retreat for the wives of men in full-time gospel ministry in FIEC churches and wives of men in our Pastors' Network.
Our Ministry Wives Retreat will offer pastoral refreshment along with physical and spiritual rest for women married to men serving in our churches and women who are married to men in our Pastors’ Network.
We are delighted that Jane McNabb, Chair of the London Women’s Convention and a well-known Bible teacher and author, will be our main speaker. Jane served on FIEC’s Women’s Ministry Team for many years and has been hugely influential in the way the Fellowship’s vision for women’s ministry has developed over the past decade.
Jane is married to Wes, who is the pastor of The Slade Church in London.
The retreat will be held at Holland House between Pershore and Evesham in Worcestershire; an interesting mix of very old and more recent buildings set within three acres of beautiful gardens that slope down to the River Avon. In their words, it’s “the ideal location for meeting with friends, colleagues or enjoying the peace and tranquillity.”
The retreat will take place from Wednesday 24 to Friday 26 May.
The cost for the retreat is £185.
If cost is an issue please get in touch. We wouldn’t want finance to be the cause of anyone being unable to join us and any such enquiry will be dealt with in strict confidence.
Places are limited in 2017 as we explore the appetite there is for a retreat like this, so we would suggest you book early to avoid disappointment. If you need additional information then please contact Elisabeth Smyth using our contact form.
