Bible Handling for Women in Ministry
One of the Women’s Ministry Team's desires is to support and equip women to correctly handle God’s Word so that they can pass it on and teach it well to others.
These sessions aim to offer training in bible handling skills and give women an opportunity to present God’s word in a bible study or talk.
- Session 1 (1 October 2021, online)
This session will focus on a genre of the Bible and will look at the tools needed to handle this genre correctly. It will give an overview of the main characteristics of the genre and equip those coming to know how to correctly interpret and apply the genre in their teaching. We will be looking at the gospels this time.
- Session 2 (28 Jan 2022, online)
This session will look at how to write a talk or a Bible study. There will be practical examples for women to work through. The passages will be from the same genre as the first session.
- Session 3 (June 2022 – date and venue TBC)
In this session, those attending will get the opportunity to present a talk or talk through their Bible study. They will also receive feedback.
These training sessions are open to women in ministry or ministry wives in FIEC churches. We’d love it if you were able to join us.
If you have any more questions do contact Rachel Sloan or Elinor Magowan.
